How an engagement works
A typical engagement runs in four phases: assess your current estate and requirements, design the target architecture, migrate in planned waves, then optimise and hand over. Each workload is migrated by the approach that suits it, whether that is a straight move, a re-platform or a rebuild, and the choice is explained in terms of cost, risk and effort.
Migrations are sequenced to keep disruption low, with rollback plans and testing before cut-over. Everything is built as code and documented, and your team is trained on it as the work progresses.

How long does a cloud migration take?
It depends on the number and complexity of workloads. Purple2 breaks a migration into assessment, design and migration waves, and gives you a plan with the scope and sequence of each wave before work starts. Smaller migrations can complete in weeks, while larger estates run in phases over several months.
Can you help if we are already in the cloud?
Yes. Many Purple2 cloud engagements are reviews and improvements of existing environments, covering architecture, security, reliability and cost, followed by hands-on delivery of the agreed changes.
Will you work with our in-house engineers?
Yes. Purple2 works alongside in-house engineering and operations teams, builds everything as documented infrastructure as code, and trains your people so that they can own the platform afterwards.
